Gerald Lucas is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and composer. Gerald began studying the violin as a child and has performed at Carnegie Hall and several times at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts both as a violin soloist and with several classical chamber groups. In order to satisfy his desire to explore different musical styles and begin writing and composing his own music, Gerald took up the guitar and the bass guitar the summer he completed high school. Gerald later founded the groundbreaking "Rhythm Rock" band, Mutagenic (www.mutagenicmusic.com) and is a founding and current member of the eclectic funk-fusion trio, GMJ Groove.
